Warped Vortex Art

Warped Vortex Art (WVA) was established in March of 2019 because life can get messy. Be the glow in the mess. In the heart of Baltimore City, Maryland, WVA got its professional start at a maker space called Open Works whose mission is to make tools, technology, and the knowledge to use them accessible to all. As a communal taught mixed-media artist, WVA was able to fuse together a passion for expressionism, creativity, and a hefty thirst for learning new skills such as Yakisugi (or Shou Sugi Ban) and not being afraid of a little chemistry. If you enjoy anime, sci-fi, gaming, fashion, pop culture, comics, heroism WVA is for you because WVA art is expressed using glow-in-the-dark resin, sewing thread, and/or vinyl materila. WVA is for the weird, sassy, oddballs who appreciate nerdom.
